SR-4210 S/L-Band Receive System
|

Provides complete RF to recovered data/clock outputs
for downlink signals. This includes RF signal filtering,
amplification, and translation, digital demodulation (including
FM, PM, PSK, PM/PSK, and FM/FSK), bit-synchronization,
and
configurable data decoding (including PCM, Viterbi, and
descrambling). For complex waveforms (i.e., multiple subcarriers
and/or baseband data), the product provides an IF output
which can be utilized to daisy chain receive operation
with
the SD-4220.

SD-4220 General Purpose Demod
|

This product incorporates the same demodulation, bit-synchronization,
and decoding logic as the SR-4210 S-Band Receive System
in a stand-alone package. When combined with the SR-4210,
any number of SD-4220’s can be interconnected to
provide recovery of additional waveforms present on a
main carrier
over and above the waveform being processed by the SR-4210
itself.

SM-4230 General Purpose Data and Waveform Generator
and Data Tester

|
Product provides configurable data encoding on an external
digital input, including convolutional, PCM, and scrambling.
The digital outputs from the encoding may either be utilized
directly via external connections or may serve as the input
to a general purpose modulator, providing highly spectrally
pure and configurable PSK or FSK modulations for frequency
outputs ranging from DC to 10 MHz. Optionally, the product
may also be utilized as a SGLS compatible command tone encoder,
supporting common serial or dibit input modes. In this mode,
the unit produces an SGLS standard AM/FSK output waveform.

SE-4250 / SE-4255 S/L-Band RF Exciter & Test Signal Simulator for Satellite Telemetry

Product provides configurable data encoding on an external
digital input, including convolutional and PCM. The resulting
data may be modulated via PSK, PM, or FM onto an uplink
or downlink carrier frequency between 1400 and 2600MHz.
Alternatively, the product also supports direct analog input
to create modulation (PM or FM) onto the same frequencies.
This can be utilized to support subcarrier or complex (i.e.,
multiple subcarriers and/or baseband data) waveform outputs.
The SE-4250 supports data rates from 100 bps to 20 Mbps for legacy telemetry and communications applications. The SE-4255 High Data Rate RF Exciter supports data rates to 50 Mbps for communications or advanced waveform shaping and filtering.
Test features include programmable digital noise, PN Generation, and dual independent BER Testers for accurate Eb/No and SNR simulation.Satellite acquisition sweep/decay and Doppler simulation is included.
Options include secondary CW or Modulated uplink output
for LH/RH polarization requirements, secondary CW divide
by 2 output, and external frequency reference input.

Due to the firmware intensive nature of these Satellite
Telemetry products, additional modulation formats, coding
functions, acquisition strategies, and so forth can be readily
supported, even for previously fielded systems. Furthermore,
SRI frequently provides custom equipments to interface the
existing items with new frequency bands/communication links
or other unique interface requirements.
